Note-taking  an essential investment

In Garner & friends (2008) Ian Wallace perfectly explains the importance of note-taking and record-keeping. Here are a few quotes.

Not one snapped image using the amazing technology can match the constant argument of your eye and mind and to exercise the latter fully you must practise. Look, really observe, draw, describe, and finally see is the course.

Making anything up from memories is pointless; they always jumble and tend to get better!

Note-taking and record-keeping is the most essential investment for anyone wanting to contribute to pro-active purposeful birdwatching. Dont hold back!
